FAQs
Will participants memorize and present a script to an audience?
Yes, participants are required to memorize their script and present it to the audience (finalist family members and educators). They may bring a notecard or index card to glance at their notes if needed.
Will the competition be in Korean or English for non-heritage students?
For both non-heritage and heritage students, the competition will be conducted in Korean only.
If students qualify for the final rounds, will they create a new speech or present the one from their application video?
They will revise the same speech used for their application (most likely with additional information) and present to the audience. Below is the time limit for each category.
